OutAt INC.| THE LEGACY
About Us
Queer-owned. Story-driven. Rooted in joy. Built to evolve.
🌈 Our Story: From Fairgrounds to a Movement
OutAt Inc began with a simple idea that became a nationwide movement. Back in 2011, Out at the Fair® launched at the San Diego County Fair — a grassroots effort to create visibility, safety, and celebration for the LGBTQ+ community inside one of America’s most traditional spaces.

What started as one local day of rainbow joy quickly caught fire. Within a few short years, Out at the Fair® became a fixture at major fairs across California, including the Orange County Fair, California State Fair, and San Diego County Fair, before expanding to states like Oregon, New Mexico, and Alaska.

By 2024, the event reached over 500,000 attendees nationwide — drawing families, allies, and community members of all ages. Each festival featured live music, drag performances, family zones, community resource booths, and stages that amplified LGBTQ+ and ally voices in spaces where representation once didn’t exist.

From the start, Out at the Fair® didn’t just entertain — it redefined inclusion at mainstream events, driving fair attendance up by more than 15,000 new visitors across its markets and setting a model for how community events could be both meaningful and wildly fun.

💫 The Impact: Visibility, Connection & Economic Growth
Over the past decade, Out at the Fair® has transformed county and state fairs into platforms of inclusion — where Pride meets popcorn and drag queens share the stage with country bands.

The impact has been both social and economic:

-
🌈 Visibility: Out at the Fair® gave LGBTQ+ individuals and families a welcoming space in mainstream fair culture — showing that representation belongs everywhere.
-
💬 Community Connection: Hundreds of local nonprofits and advocacy groups have connected with new audiences through OATF’s vendor and resource zones.
-
🎡 Economic Growth: Fairs reported attendance boosts of up to 15,000 additional visitors, with new sponsors, vendors, and tourism exposure following each event.
-
🎶 Entertainment Evolution: OATF became known for its diverse stages — featuring drag, pop, country, Latin, and family programming — bringing LGBTQ+ and ally artists to thousands across the country.
Simply put, OutAt didn’t just add a Pride day — it reshaped how fairs think about inclusion, family, and fun.

🚀 The Evolution: From Out at the Fair® to OutAt Inc

In 2022, OutAt was accepted into the Techstars Austin business incubator, where its next chapter took shape. What began as one event evolved into OutAt Inc — a creative powerhouse spanning production, storytelling, food, and community innovation.

In March 2023, OutAt Inc made national headlines by producing the SXSW Kickoff Party in Austin, Texas — the most attended event of the night across the entire festival. Featuring high-energy performances by DJ Cazwell and Landa Plenty, the party drew a line over a block long and officially ranked as the #1 most visited SXSW party via the festival’s app analytics. It was a defining moment that proved OutAt could take the same inclusive magic from county fairs to one of the world’s biggest creative stages.

Today, OutAt Inc carries that same mission forward through its growing family of brands — from 3Dudes1Life Creative and Tres Amigos, Una Vida to C-Dawg’s Snack Shack and DCW Grows. Each project keeps the same promise: celebrate diversity, spark creativity, and make life just a little more fabulous.

Because queer joy doesn’t stop at the stage — it grows, evolves, and builds community everywhere it goes.
